Exclamation barrage build

ok so by now everyone knows what an iway build is... right? and everyone knows that to counter it you get into this happy ball, watch them come to you and then say "press o for shits and giggles"... yea...

well the funny thing is, theres a build loosely based on IWAY that has very funny results when mixed with that counter. basically its an all r/w build with the usual necro/order spammer etc. BUT they use barrage. so when you get into your happy loveball they all use barrage and... well... you know the rest.

so just a heads up, if you see an r/w build with pets... try not to sit in a ball

hope this avoids a really weird match i had a short while ago

What's an IWAY build? (i know about the skill IWAY, but not the build, nor it's strategy)
What's the counter and what's a happy ball?
necro/order spammer as in using Order of Pain over and over?

This post did a number on me, and I am way too curious about it to just let it go.

The IWAY build i know is based on this strategy :
A team of 8 W/R, using pets.
The W/R would let the 8 pets die, making 8 allies on the ground for IWAY to trigger at an impressive power (80 seconds of fast attack and 6 health regen). This is impressive since the skill costs 5 energy and can be repetedly casted every 45 seconds, so you could be on steroids all the time...

no kassad i must not. and if someone is posting on a public forum then HE must learn to post in a language which everyone could understand and not only his ghetto neighbours. And the use of the word ghetto isnt ment to offend anyone in any way.

What the hell is a happy ball? You mean weak/bad healing ball? Or heavy earth /fire/smite pbaoe? Bleh.

Anyway most IWAY builds are pretty crappy. I played in a modded IWAY build (w/r though) last night though and the first team we fought against went into a healing/smite ball about a minute into the fight. They died 30 seconds later. The score chart was indeed rather hilarious.

what would his ghetto neighbors be? iQ? Whats wrong with using GW slang when talking about GW?

IWAY = wa/r + pets
happy ball = um, healing ball?
OOP spammer = necro who spams OOP. In the contect of the IWAY, necro who hides and spams OOP.

your criticism is only valid when i'm wrong about the "slang terms", since in this case he used internal elite pvp player slang on a forum where people go to learn about the game ...

oi.

ok ill be much more clear: IWAY = i will avenge you. a build based on having about 5-7 w/r with ___ weapons and pets, using IWAY when they die. thus eliminating (ish) the need for monks, since they have a basically permanent +6 regen, and an insane attack power. ofcourse the +6 pips wont save you and someone always dies, so they usually res quick.

ball = get into one spot. like everyone getting as close as possible to one particular player so that everyone is in one small area is called 'balling up'. the reason it works is because when all the warriors charge you they all end up in that 'ball' too, and things like meteor shower, balthazars aura, hit all of them. not to mention well's like well of suffering and putrid absolutely decimate them when they get into a group. and if the necro stays behond to order spam, he cant go for corpses and it gets pretty nasty, those teams die in seconds (literally)

...

does it makes sense now? lol. i was just trying to point out that getting into a ball like that is terrible if the r/w use barrage, since it will hit everyone.

*edit when i say ball that does NOT mean the group i used was a healing ball team. all it means is that everyone in the group just bunched up. like hey, why not? its not like the iway build uses any aoes, and they dont last longer than 11 seconds so aegis keeps you fine until then. not to mention like 1 healing seed on a target is enough for the entire team, double healing seed is just for fun.

your choice. either that or zealous, since you hit multiple targets with barrage.
